Our group focused on the fundamental paradigms of ecological and evolutionary biological processes such as speciation, adaptive evolution and adaptive phenotypic change at multiple evolutionary scales, including species level, population level and cellar level. To address this, we have developed an experimental evolutionary system in somatic cells by integrating ecological and evolutionary theory, population genetics, system biology approaches and multi-omics methods, which are difficult to record and analyze in natural populations.
