Kunming Natural History Museum of Zoology, the largest animal theme museum in China, comprised of research specimen library, science popularization hall and multi-functional reference room, having 560,000 individual specimens in storage and near 10,000 specimens on display, including over 90 national protected species. 

As one of China’s most important specimen collection, and with the support of the Kunming Institute of Zoology (CAS), the museum endeavors to promote science popularization and academic research.
