Research Fields and Progress in 2013

Our research is mainly focused on the information encoding and the transformation mechanisms between different coding strategies in the non-hunman primate brain and the development of the non-human primate animal models and mechanism studies of the central nervous system diseases.

The main progress of our research in 2013 was the successful development of a new stable and relatively healthy PD monkey model and a new monkey AD models with all the key behavioral and pathological symptoms.
