To intensify the technology cooperation with China, with the collaboration of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the La France en Chine launched Program Zhang Heng. This program includes the informational meeting series about scientific research and technology innovation, and the academic visits to the relevant institutions in Bejing, Shanghai and Kunming. The goal of Program Zhang Heng is to help the young French scientists (under 40 years old) to carry out the investigation of research situation in China, and help them to find the potential cooperation opportunities. “sustainable development and biodiversity” is the theme of this one week visit (2011-11-19—27).
Seven selected young French scientists from Ecole Nationale Supérieure agronomique de Toulouse, Ecole nationale vétérinaire d’Alfort, Ifremer, Institut de recherche pour le développement and Muséum national d'histoire naturelle will attend the biodivesity symposium at Nov. 23rd, 2011, KIZ .
