Irina Donskov Winterbottom, with her husband, Dr. Richard Winterbottom, Visiting Professor in the Phylogeny and Biogeography Group, will be at KIZ for the next three months.
Irina is a professional English teacher in Toronto, Canada, and has offered to assist KIZ students with any of their needs in this subject area.
Irina obtained her B.A.(Hons) in English at York University in Toronto, followed by an M.A. in
English at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, a further M.A. in Comparative Literature from Ottawa, and an Ontario Teaching Certificate (English Specialist) from the University of Toronto.
In addition to classroom teaching, Irina was Head of English in her Collegiate Institute, and for many years was actively involved with the University of Toronto’s Teacher Education Program, training future teachers of English.
