Prof. Ren Lai, the principal investigator of Functional Proteomics of Natural Medicine Group of Kunming Institute of Zoology, CAS and the Chairman of the Entomological Society of Yunnan province, was newly awarded the 6th Honghe-Hongyun Youth Science & Technology Prize of Yunnan Province on 25th February, 2011.

The prize is set up by Organization Department of Yunnan Provincial Committee, the Human Resource Bureau and the Social Insurance Bureau of Yunnan Province and Science and Technology Association of Yunnan Province, in order to commend the outstanding youth scientist of Yunnan Province and encouraging all the other youth scholars to work harder and make more contribution for Yunnan social construction.
