On 8th March, 2011, the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement Signing Ceremony between First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University and Kunming Institute of Zoology (KIZ), CAS was held. Dr. Ming-Qing Chen, the Director of First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University and Dr. Ya-Ping Zhang, the Director of KIZ signed on theStrategic Cooperation Framework Agreement to strengthen the strategic and complementary advantages and conduct further effective cooperation in research and talents construction.

The two sides agreed to conduct the first step collaboration in the field of “Genetic Diagnosis Technology Research” and “Database of Tumor Sample Construction” in order to take the leading in providing services of Cancer Genetic Screen Diagnosis and Treatment in Yunnan Province. Besides, they also agreed to organize symposium regularly.
