Since 2011, to enhance science propaganda popularity, Kunming Natural History Museum of Zoology signed an agreement with Yongde Daxueshan National Natural Reserve, lingcang, to help and facilitate the set up of their museum. Till July 10th, with the cooperation of both sides’ staff, all the preparations, such as proposal designing, specimen collecting and processing, exhibit arranging have been successfully finished.
Yongde Daxueshan National Natural Reserve Museum, lingcang, is one of the Yunnan biodiversity protection education base construction project. The museum is about 143 m2, including sand table models section of conservation district panoramic view, mammals section, rare plants section, birds section, amphibians section, insects and soil specimen section, showing the abundant bio-source of this conservation district. The museum is a wonderful public media for biodiversity education, research and protection.
Kunming Natural History Museum of Zoology helped the establishment of the Huanglianshan National Natural Reserve Museum, lvchun, Yunnan, in May, 2008 and since then on, as a great science propaganda base, it dedicates to further the popularization of science and education of conservation districts and promotes the local and remote areas’ development .
