In anticipation of National Science Day, the Kunming Natural History Museum of Zoology has launched a new “Wild Africa” exhibit. Africa is often considered by many to be a vast, unbroken land, full of mystery and adventure, boasting some of the world’s longest rivers, its largest basin, and its largest desert. The new “Wild Africa” exhibition was designed to introduce the geography of the continent, indigenous animals and their historical migration patterns. The museum hopes the exhibit will help promote a broader idea of wildlife conservation and provide public education on an often misunderstood area of the world.
