On January 26, 2015, the Kunming Museum of Natural History completed its new WiFi wireless internet service that covers the entire museum facility and is available for free usages by museum patrons.  In conjunction with the Museum’s new Exhibit App, visitors  can now enhance their museum experience by accessing information on the exhibits and specimens on display. This new wifi service is part of a larger shift in the Museum’s media strategy that is built around complementing traditional exhibitions with digital resources to better educate visitors on the importance of natural history, biodiversity, and environmental conservation.
