In the spirit of the new year in China, three students from JIANG Zhuoheng’s lab at the Shanghai Maritime University gifts the Kunming Museum of Natural History several rare collections of insect specimens from Yunnan, Fujian, Liaoning, Jilin, Tibet, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Tanzania.
The Museum is currently the largest natural history museum in Asia, and the gifted collections include many highly-sought after ornamental specimens of stick-bugs and butterflies, both of which are part of the Museum’s core insect collections.
