Petaurista nobilis and Priapomys leonardi have been found in China's Xizang autonomous region
In recent surveys, researchers and photography enthusiasts have documented the noble Bhutan giant flying squirrel (Petaurista nobilis)and Leonard's small flying squirrel (Priapomys leonardi) in China's Xizang autonomous region, respectively.
These findings expand the known ranges of these species and underscore the importance of continued surveys and monitoring in the Himalayan region to discover more unique wildlife.
