The International Society of Zoological Sciences (ISZS), together with the International Union of Biological Science (IUBS), held its 4th International Symposium of Integrative Zoology (4th ISIZ) at Kunming Hotel, Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province, China, from December 4 to 5, 2010. The theme of the symposium is Biological Consequences of Global Change – Data Analysis and Sharing.
The focus of the 4th ISIZ is on how to collect and analyze data for global change research so that the scientists from around the world can work together to plot out a practical approach to establish a working mechanism for international data analysis and information sharing. There are about 100 scholars, researchers and students of research institutes or college from the USA, Australia, Russia, India and China attended this meeting.
The director of one Prof. Zhang Yaping was invited to give a 25min talk “Locomotion is an important factor influence evolution of energy metabolism genes”in the first part of plenary lectures.
