Chun-Fang received her BSc in Medicinal Chemistry from Beijing Medical University and her PhD in Human Genetics from Imperial College London. She undertook postdoctoral work at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund London (now CRUK) on cancer genetics. Her research interests include genetics and pharmacogenetics in several disease areas including neurosciences, cardiovascular disease, and oncology. Currently, she is a senior director, Target Sciences Therapy Area Lead for Neurosciences in GSK. At her seminar, Chun-Fang will discuss the application of genomics and genetics in selecting and validating drug targets as well in supporting clinical trials.
