Dr. LI Baoguo was the chief scientist of the National Key Programme of Research and Development Study on the endangering mechanism and conservation technology of the rare animals, the Key Project of Natural Science Foundation of China "Study for the formation and maintaining mechanism of the all-male group in the golden snub-nosed monkey". His Research field Primate Behaviour , Ecology and Evolution. Dr. LI Baoguo was recipient of National Excellent Scientist (2012), Shaanxi Outstanding Contribution Award (2011).

Research Interest

My researches are mainly on the social-behavior and biological conservation of the rare and endangered monkeys. We are especially like to know how the Qinling golden snub-nosed monkeys adapt to and tolerate the habitat fragmentation, and how they form a large group different from other species in Colobinae. Now, research field is focus on the primate behavior, ecology and evolution.
